This is the total number of raw particles counted by the FC6 during the measurement period.
What does F:995 mean?
Of the total raw particle counts, this is the total number of fibrous particles counted by the FC6 during the period. i.e. of the 57381 particles, 995 of them were fibres. But note these are the “raw” counts, these numbers require adjustment for the statistical probability of a particle being detected and also the air flow rate in order to display a concentration of fibres.
What does 128.716mg mean?
An estimate of the total particle mass per meter cubed, based on them being 1micron in diameter, and being twice the mass of water. This was a hangover from the old FC2, and is a rough guide to the total dust burden.
